CINCINNATI — Mercy Health’s mammography van will visit neighborhoods in Greater Cincinnati throughout August after taking a hiatus due to the pandemic.
Patients can receive a mammogram in about 15 minutes through Cincinnati’s Mobile Mammography program. Technicians will be wearing masks and taking the temperatures of patients before they enter the van.
Jennifer Scales, manager of the Jewish Hospital Women’s Center, said it’s imperative women have access to testing because a delay in testing could mean a delay in breast cancer diagnosis.
“So we have … decided at Mercy that we need to get those vans running so these women can get testing,” Scales said.

Patients should verify that Mercy Health - Cincinnati and The Jewish Hospital are in-network providers with their insurance carrier. Financial assistance is available for some patients who are uninsured. Call 513-686-3300 for more information.
