CINCINNATI -- A pedestrian struck in a hit-and-run Friday has died and police are still looking for the driver.
Timothy Whalen, 55, was crossing Hickman Avenue in a marked crosswalk at about 6:51 a.m. Dec. 22 when someone driving a black sedan hit him, according to police. The car came south down Reading Road and turned west onto Hickman.
The driver continued without stopping to check on Whalen, police said.
Whalen was treated at University of Cincinnati Medical Center for life-threatening injuries. He died at about 4:45 p.m. Saturday while being treated.
Police asked anyone with information to call the Traffic Unit at 513-352-2514.
