CINCINNATI -- This week, local volunteers with Cincinnati's Little Brothers Friends of the Elderly organization will spend the holidays with elderly adults who live alone.
The group hosted their annual Christmas Eve luncheon on Thursday and will make visits to nursing homes around Hamilton County. Volunteers will bring meals and gifts, "but more importantly, volunteers will simply spend time with the elders who crave socialization," an organization spokesman said.
