CINCINNATI – A man was critically injured in a hit-and-run collision while he was crossing the street Wednesday.
Reginald Young, 56, was found lying injured in the road at the intersection of Ebersole Avenue and Madison Road in Madisonville, police said in a news release. There were no witnesses.
However, a surveillance camera at a nearby business showed Young was struck by a dark colored vehicle while he crossed Ebersole Avenue, police said. The vehicle was driving westbound on Madison and turned south onto Ebersole.
Young remains in critical condition at University of Cincinnati Medical Center.
Speed did not appear to be a factor. It couldn’t immediately be said if the driver was impaired.
Police asked that anyone with information call the Traffic Unit at 513-352-2514.
