CINCINNATI -- As you're most likely aware, Pokémon Go is taking over Cincinnati.

The popular app uses your smartphone’s GPS to convert where you’re standing and the neighborhood around you into a fictional world filled with Pokémon. If you move around in real life while holding your phone in front of you, Pokémon will appear on your screen sitting and standing in your environment.

Part of the fun of Pokémon Go is leveling up your digital monsters while also exploring your neighborhood for Pokéstops and Pokémon Gyms.

That's where we come in. In the box below, we've mapped out all the Pokéstops and gyms we could find in the region. Each mark on the map represents a stop along the way where you can get loot or battle it out with other Pokémon. Enjoy! And remember to stay safe in your quest to catch 'em all.

What is a Pokéstop:

Attached to places of interest – churches, memorial plaques, statues – Pokéstops will “drop” loot like Pokéballs, snacks for Pokémon and medicines for battle-worn Pokémon.

What is a Pokémon Gym:

A gym is a place where you can increase your Pokémon’s stats by training them. This includes powering them up and making them fight other Pokémon.
