CINCINNATI -- A Tri-State woman is asking for help finding her lost wedding dress in time for a vow renewal ceremony with her husband.

Taryn Ware’s dress was in her car July 22, when she was injured in a crash on Colerain Avenue. Her car flipped over, and pedestrians helped pull her from the vehicle so she could receive emergency medical care. Some of them also moved her belongings out of the wrecked car, she said.

When she returned to claim those belongings, her dress was missing.

“I’m hurt, and I’m injured,” she said, describing the scene. “And you would think that would be enough for somebody to make sure your belongings would get back to you, but it didn’t.”

Ware had planned to renew her vows with her husband, Paris Ware, in September, but she said she wants her dress back before that day comes.

The dress has blue stitching of her wedding date on the inside, according to Ware, and was in her car alongside her veil.
