'Harambe' to make racing debut at Churchill Downs

CINCINNATI -- “Harambe,” a colt named after the Cincinnati Zoo’s late gorilla, will make his racing debut Wednesday at Churchill Downs in Louisville, Kentucky, WHIO reported.

The 2-year-old colt is owned by Muzeyyen Karabulut, who also has “Harambe” up for sale for $15,000.

Harambe was a 17-year-old Western lowland gorilla that was fatally shotin May after a 3-year-old child fell into his enclosure at the Cincinnati Zoo.
