Graeter's offers free ice cream for a good cause

Posted

CINCINNATI -- Graeter's has teamed up with The Cure Starts Now to give away free ice cream and help find a cure for brain cancer.

The ice cream shops are offering a free scoop of Elena's Blueberry Pie ice cream as part of their "cones for a cure" event. Also, the shops will give a coupon book to anyone who makes a $5 donation.

All the donations go to The Cure Starts Now, an organization funding brain cancer research.

"You can come in and have some fun, but also help out a great cause," owner Chip Graeter said.

Graeter's has hosted "cones for a cure" for 10 years now. They have raised more than $320,000 for the Cure Starts Now.
