Fugitive wanted in Chicago shooting arrested in Cincinnati

CINCINNATI -- U.S. Marshals arrested a fugitive in Cincinnati who was wanted in connection to a Chicago shooting.

Malik Williams, 22, is facing a murder charge in connection to a shooting in Chicago Sept. 4, 2016, Marshals said in a news release.

Marshals learned that Willaims was in the Cincinnati area. Working with the Cincinnati Police Department Fugitive Apprehension Unit, Marshals arrested Williams in the 1900 block of Knob Court, in English Woods, Wednesday afternoon.

Williams was being held by the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office pending extradition to Chicago.
