CINCINNATI -- An Uber driver suffered serious injuries during a rollover crash in Evanston early Friday morning.

Police said a female driver's arm had to be amputated after a grisly crash near the intersection of Dana Ave. and Trimble Ave. early Friday morning.

Police said the driver lost control for "an unknown reason" and rolled over onto its top.

Initial reports from Cincinnati District 2 police dispatchers identified the injured woman as the passenger in an Uber vehicle. The woman was later identified as the driver of the car.

There was also confusion over the number of cars involved in the crash; the latest update from police at 5:10 a.m. said only one car was involved in the crash.

WCPO will update this story as more information is available.
