CINCINNATI — A passenger injured in a crash in Bond Hill early Saturday morning has died from her injuries.

At approximately 2:04 a.m. Saturday morning, Cincinnati Police Department's traffic unit responded to the scene of a crash in the 5200 block of Reading Road in Bond Hill.

D'Angelo Plair, 29, rear-ended Bryce Degaro, 20, before losing control of his vehicle, veering off the road, and hitting a tree.

Degaro was wearing a seatbelt and was uninjured.

Plair and his passengers, Jermane Sanders, 24, Quenten Brogden, 25, Meeasia Kyles, 21, and Mary Ellen Harris, 36, were all transported to University of Cincinnati Medical Center by Cincinnati Fire personnel. Plair, Sanders, Brogden and Kyles sustained non-life-threatening injuries and are in good condition.

Harris sustained critical injuries as a result of the crash and later succumbed to those injuries at the hospital. None of the passengers in Plair's car were wearing a seat belt.

The traffic unit is continuing to investigate this accident, but police say excessive speed and impairment appear to be factors in the crash.
