CINCINNATI – A 66-year-old driver died after crashing into a median barrier on Columbia Parkway Sunday morning, police say.
Gary Smith failed to control his pickup truck and struck the wall in the 5300 block. The accident happened shortly after 8 a.m. He died at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.
Police corrected an earlier release to say that speeding and impairment were not involved in the crash.
Smith was wearing a seatbelt, police say.
The Traffic Unit asks any witnesses to the crash to call 513-352-2514.
