CINCINNATI -- You’ll likely see first responders and hear sirens near The Banks on Thursday. But don’t worry, it’s just a drill.

First responders from several agencies will partake in a mass casualty incident exercise from 8 to 11 a.m. on Thursday.

The exercise is for first responders, hospitals and other emergency agencies to practice how to handle an emergency or disaster in the region.

Setup will begin at 5:30 a.m., and the exercise will run until 11 a.m. The area will be clear by 1 p.m.

Mehring Way near Great American Ball Park will be restricted to one lane during the exercise, and Joe Nuxhall Way will be closed until 1 p.m.
