CINCINNATI — A fire on the seventh floor of an eight-story apartment complex in the 700 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard has left 16 families displaced Wednesday evening, according to a Cincinnati Fire Department news release.
Emergency officials extinguished the fire within 15 minutes, and the apartment where the flames originated is considered a total loss.
Unattended cooking was determined to be the cause of the fire.
The damage is estimated at $200,000.
