CINCINNATI -- Police investigated a "suspicious device" found in the federal building Downtown, according to Cincinnati District Fire Chief Raffel Prophett.
Security at the federal building detected “unidentified organic material in a laptop" in the lobby area, Prophett said.
“We were able to determine … it was not a DOD or an explosive type of material,” Prophett said.
Police evacuated the lobby area, and everyone else sheltered in place.
The owner of the laptop is in custody, Prophett said, but it is unclear whether that person will face charges.
