CINCINNATI -- Catherine Blake, who founded Blake & Associates Physical Therapy in 1978, believed in treating every patient as though they were a member of her family.
Eleven years after her death, group heads Sue DiOrio and Christine Maag said that philosophy has helped her business flourish its way to a 40-year anniversary.
Accord to DiOrio, independent physical therapy offices like theirs are becoming rare as hospitals open facilities of their own. Blake & Associates stays competitive by investing in research and resources, including said that state-of-the art equipment that helps patients with balance and mobility.
“I do a lot of research on what is the latest information to be able to heal a patient the quickest way,” she said.
