CINCINNATI — Cincinnati police are investigating a shooting on southbound Interstate 71 just before the Lytle Tunnel Wednesday night.

Police said an unknown vehicle pulled alongside the victim’s car and the driver fired multiple shots towards him. The victim was struck in the leg and crashed near the 1.5 mile marker.

The victim, who police did not identify, was transported to UC Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

Police did not give a description of the suspect vehicle.
