METAMORA TOWNSHIP, Ind. – A body found near a missing Cincinnati woman’s car was identified as that woman Wednesday, according to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department.
Therese Barrett, 61, was missing since May 9. The next day, Franklin County deputies located her car abandoned off U.S. 52 on Standard Materials Road.
Authorities searched the area for Barrett, but initially didn’t find anything. May 20, they found Barrett’s body but couldn’t immediately confirm her identity.She was identified Wednesday after an autopsy.
Investigators have not discovered anything suspicious, but the investigation is still ongoing, deputies said.
