Allegiant to resume flights from CVG to Puerto Rico in December

HEBRON, Ky. -- Allegiant Airlines will resume flights from Cincinnati to Puerto Rico in December, more than a year after Hurricane Maria devastated the island’s infrastructure and disrupted the tourism industry that forms a significant part of its economy.

The once-a-week flights will begin again Dec. 15, 2018, and carry passengers from Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky International Airport to the capital city of San Juan.

“We are proud to partner with Allegiant on this route and to be the only airport in Kentucky, Ohio or Indiana to provide nonstop service to this great Caribbean market,” said Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky International Airport CEO Candace McGraw.
