CINCINNATI -- Just one streetcar is back in service Thursday morning after Metro took all five Cincinnati Bell Connector streetcars off the streets Wednesday night due to mechanical problems.
“We are working diligently with all of our partners to resolve the mechanical issues,” spokesperson Brandy Jones said in a statement.
Jones added the Metro hoped to have all five vehicles back in service by Thursday morning.
According to the Metro, anyone with a streetcar pass can use it to ride local bus routes until streetcar service returns.
Streetcar service has resumed, however, only one vehicle is in service. Customers should expect service every 30 mins. pic.twitter.com/qtuczfO4EK
