CINCINNATI -- Just one streetcar is back in service Thursday morning after Metro took all five Cincinnati Bell Connector streetcars off the streets Wednesday night due to mechanical problems.
Customers will experience longer wait times with vehicles arriving approximately every 30 minutes. Check for updates on service on their Facebook or Twitter here.
“We are working diligently with all of our partners to resolve the mechanical issues,” spokesperson Brandy Jones said in a statement.
Jones added the Metro hoped to have all five vehicles back in service by Thursday morning.
According to the Metro, anyone with a streetcar pass can use it to ride local bus routes until streetcar service returns.
