23-year-old fatally shot in Westwood, police say

CINCINNATI – A man found suffering from a gunshot wound later died at a hospital, police said.

District Three officers found Kareem Howell, 23, down a wooded trail behind the 3160 block of Bracken Woods Lane in Westwood at about 5:50 p.m. Saturday, police said.

Howell had been shot. He was transported to University of Cincinnati Medical Center for treatment.

Howell died from his injuries at the hospital.

The Cincinnati Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating the shooting.
