CINCINNATI – It was a record-breaking year for The Greater Cincinnati Foundation.

The community foundation was entrusted with more than $100 million in donations during 2015, they announced this week.

The Greater Cincinnati Foundation partners with other charitable organizations in the area. They provide grants and endowments that have benefited groups like schools, religious groups and other nonprofit organizations.

Their previous record was $85 million in 2014.

“It’s an extraordinary result,” President/CEO Ellen M. Katz said. “It’s another example of the incredible generosity of this region and its long heritage of giving and volunteering.”
