CHEVIOT, Ohio -- A sunbather was killed when a driver ran over her in a parking lot Thursday.
Tonya Robinson, 45, was sunbathing in a parking lot of Glenmore Avenue when a driver pulled in and, unable to see her as she entered the driveway, drove over the sunbather, according to Cheviot police.
A bystander heard screaming coming from behind a home and found Robinson trapped under a vehicle, police said. He and others were able to lift the vehicle and remove her.
Cheviot and Green Township squad personnel performed life-saving measures and drove Robinson to University of Cincinnati Medical Center. She was pronounced dead at the hospital.
There are no criminal charges pending, police said.
