CINCINNATI — The Cheviot Police Department has canceled an endangered missing adult alert after safely locating an 81-year-old woman in Hamilton County.
The alert was issued at about 4 a.m. Tuesday for Estelle Haussler by police after she walked away from her home on Carrie Avenue. Haussler suffers from dementia and may be in need of oxygen, according to the department.
Haussler left her Carrie Avenue home on foot at about 9:30 p.m. Monday.
Police canceled the alert at about 7:30 a.m. after officers said they found her unharmed.
