BLUE ASH, Ohio – Overnight storms and heavy rain sent a tree crashing onto a Blue Ash home Wednesday morning.
The 80-foot-tall tree fell onto the Wynnecrest Drive house at about 5:56 a.m., breaking through the ceiling in the bathroom.
Sheila Franklin said everyone was asleep when it happened.
“We were just in shock,” she said.
No one was injured.
The storm also opened up a sinkhole in Anderson Township and caused mudslides along a portion of the Columbia Parkway, closing one westbound lane until at least Thursday morning.
