BLUE ASH, Ohio -- Seven people are out of a home after a duplex in Blue Ash caught fire around 11 p.m. Tuesday, sending one man to the hospital with burns on his hand.
Several neighbors reported seeing families grilling Tuesday evening at a home near the corner of Cooper and Northfield roads. Shortly after, the fire erupted and left extensive damage.
Firefighters are investigating the exact cause of the blaze, which appears to have started on the porch near the front room of the lower duplex. The Red Cross is assisting all seven people from the two families who are now displaced with food, clothing and shelter.
