Blue Ash police hunt for man who robbed U.S. Bank

BLUE ASH, Ohio – The colorfully dressed man approached a bank teller and whispered, "This is a bank robbery."

So the teller put a mound of bills on the counter. The robber scooped them up, held them against his stomach and walked out.

The robbery happened Thursday morning shortly after  the U.S. Bank at 9545 Kenwood Road opened for business, according to Blue Ash police. No one was injured.

The male suspect was described as about 50 years old with short gray hair, 6-feet 3-inches tall and 210 to 230 pounds.  He was wearing a gray or green shirt, blue bandana, white baseball cap and white tennis shoes with black soles. He also wore motorcycle gloves with the fingertips cut off.

The suspect left the scene in a red Mazda with Florida registration. Here are images of the suspect and his vehicle from bank security cameras.
