ANDERSON TOWNSHIP, Ohio — A woman was arrested Thursday after she led deputies in a chase around Anderson Township in a stolen truck, according to the sheriff's office.

The Hamilton County Sheriff's Department said they were called to the the gas pumps at 7580 Beechmont Ave. around 12:20 p.m. for an unconscious person in a truck.

When deputies arrived, the woman fled from the deputies in a black 2001 Ford Ranger. While deputies pursued her, they were able to find out the truck she was driving was stolen from Norwood.

Deputies chased her down Beechmont Avenue, where she had a minor crash with another vehicle near the intersection of Five Mile Road.

The driver didn't stop after this crash though, and she continued down Beechmont Avenue before turning south onto Sutton Road. Then she turned west onto Salem Road, where she hit some mailboxes and a guardrail with the truck.

Finally, she went off the roadway and into a creek near Salem Road, where the truck finally stopped.

Deputies then arrested the driver, Anna Michelle Reeves, and charged her with receiving stolen property, felony fleeing and eluding and operating a vehicle while under the influence. Reeves went to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center before deputies transported her to the Hamilton County Justice Center.

Officials think alcohol and/or drugs are a factor in the chase and crash.
