CINCINNATI -- Graeter’s flagship store will reopen Wednesday with a new look and a new play area.

The renowned ice cream shop started renovating its Cherry Grove store in Anderson Township in March.

The Graeter’s team will hold a grand reopening with a ribbon cutting at 11 a.m. on Wednesday.

Owner Chip Graeter said he’s excited about the reopening of the Beechmont Avenue shop.

"By offering new amenities and new opportunities for families to create lifelong memories, we hope our Cincinnati area fans will come and enjoy the renovated scoop shop for years to come,” Graeter said in a statement.

The Cherry Grove location first opened its doors in the early 1990s. The shop is now the first Graeter’s in the Cincinnati area with a playroom.
