ANDERSON TOWNSHIP, Ohio -- Three Forest Hills School District employees have been placed on administrative leave for unspecified "violations of Board of Education policies," district officials announced Monday.

Forest Heis, the Forest Hills Board of Education president, said district officials found "misconduct" in an internal investigation. Treasurer Rick Toepfer, Ray Johnson, the director of business operations, and Beth Brulport, an administrative assistant, were all placed on leave until officials reach a final resolution.

"We take our policies very seriously and we hold our employees to high standards that reflect the quality we, and our community, expect in Forest Hills School District," Heis said in a news release.

Heis clarified that the situation did not involve students, but he did not detail what violations had occurred.

The district has taken steps to maintain education and operational processes, according to Superintendent Scot T. Prebles.

"As always, Forest Hills staff will remain focused on providing a quality education for our students," he said.
