3 cellphone stores broken into within an hour overnight in Sycamore, Symmes townships

Three cellphone stores in Sycamore and Symmes townships were broken into within an hour's time overnight Wednesday, according to the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office.

At 1:01 a.m., deputies were dispatched for an alarm at the Sprint store at 7878 Montgomery Road and found the front window was shattered.

At 1:20 a.m., deputies responded to the Cricket store at 8683 Fields Ertel Road to find its front door shattered as well. Finally, at 1:47 a.m., officers found the front door shattered at the AT&T store at 11397 Montgomery Road.

There is no suspect or vehicle information at this time. Police did not report what, if anything, was stolen from the stores.

The incidents remain under investigation by the Sheriff’s Criminal Investigation Section. Anyone with information is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office at 513-825-1500 or Crime Stoppers at 513-352-3040. Alternatively, text Crime Stoppers at CRIMES or 274637 and type “CINTIP” in their message.
