DELHI TOWNSHIP, Ohio — A 23-year-old mother faces charges after her 1 1/2-year-old daughter drowned in the bathtub at their Delhi Township home, according to police.

A grand jury indicted Jessica Fisher on charges of involuntary manslaughter and endangering children.

First responders found the child, Willow Palacio, unresponsive in a home on Greenwell Avenue on April 3. Willow had been left unattended in the bathtub, according to a release. She was pronounced dead at a hospital.

The grand jury did not hear the case until this month due to COVID-19. Fisher was arrested on Sunday and taken to the Hamilton County Justice Center.
