OWENSVILLE, Ohio — Part of Pattison Park in Clermont County will be closed for the month of September for construction, according to the Clermont County Park District.

Pattison Lakeside, south of U.S. 50 near Owensville, will be closed starting September 2 for about a month in order to install a new sidewalk near the park's parking lot. Asphalt needs to be removed near the edge of the lot, and this might create a falling hazard.

“We regret the inconvenience to our guests who have been using the trails or fishing at Pattison Lakeside," Chris Clingman, director of the Clermont County Park District, said. “The good news – assuming we have cooperation from the weather – is that we should be able to re-open the trails by the end of the month.”

Parts of Pattison Park were already closed for construction of a new restroom facility, picnic shelter and playground. Pattison Lodgeside, north of U.S. 50, will remain open.
