MIAMI TOWNSHIP (Clermont County), Ohio – A 62-year-old Batavia motorcyclist is dead after police say he failed to negotiate a curve Wednesday evening on U.S. 50 near Round Bottom Road.
Police say Timothy W. Sheridan fatally crashed his 1975 Harley Davidson around 6:40 p.m. Wednesday. They say he was closely following another motorcycle, drove off the south side of the roadway while driving eastbound and struck a utility pole.
Sheridan was not wearing a helmet or protective gear. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
