MILFORD, Ohio — A woman who struck an Ohio State Highway Patrol cruiser Thursday afternoon has died, according to the OSHP.
Police said Trooper Collin Nolan was sitting stationary in a crossover on I-275 between Milford Parkway and Eastgate when his cruiser was struck on its passenger side by a 2001 Chrysler 300 at 3:20 p.m.
Police identified the driver of the Chrysler as 49-year-old Christina Fletcher of Batavia.
Nolan was transported to Bethesda North Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. Fletcher, the only occupant in her vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The OSHP is investigating the crash.
