Goshen Township man receives two life sentences for murder of pregnant girlfriend

BATAVIA, Ohio — A Goshen Township man was sentenced to life in prison Friday for the 2017 murder of his girlfriend and her unborn child.

Steven Todd Mages, 40, stabbed the pregnant 35-year-old Natasha Wilson to death Aug. 30, 2017, and attempted to kill a relative who had witnessed the attack. He fled to Florence, where he was arrested later the same day.

According to a news release from Clermont County Assistant Prosecutor Scott O’Reilly, Mages pleaded guilty to two counts of aggravated murder, one count of attempted murder and one count of kidnapping. He received two life sentences.
