FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP, Ohio — A church bus and another vehicle were involved in a fatal crash Sunday morning, dispatchers told WCPO and the Journal-News.
Ohio State Highway Patrol dispatchers said that a crash at Dixie Highway and Manchester Road killed the driver of the church bus.
Two other people were transported to area hospitals, dispatchers told WCPO.
OSHP officials on scene said there were children on the bus at the time of the crash. There were no other serious injuries.
Doyle Burke, Warren County Chief Coroner’s investigator, identified the driver as Archie Cheeseman, 59, of Middletown, according to the Journal-News.
The intersection remains closed as Duke Energy crews work around live wires knocked down by the crash.
