STONELICK TOWNSHIP, Ohio — A child was killed in a crash that shut down both directions of State Route 132 near Anstaett Road in Clermont Count Monday night, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol said Sean Harmon, 34, was traveling north on SR-132 with a nine-year-old child in his vehicle when Helena Taft, 25, was traveling south on SR-132.

Investigators said Taft crossed the center line while driving around a curve and struck Harmon head-on. Harmon then struck a guardrail.

First responders pronounced the child dead at the scene, and they transported Harmon to Bethesda North Hospital with serious injuries. Taft had minor injuries from the crash, and she was treated at the scene by EMS units.

Investigators said alcohol and drugs are not suspected in the crash.

The crash is still under investigation.
