BETHEL, Ohio – A rape suspect was arrested less than 10 hours after the Clermont County Sheriff issued a BOLO for the Tri-State man.
David D. Ford is wanted in connection with a rape, kidnapping, assault and burglary that happened in Bethel on Oct. 13, the sheriff's office said.
Ford, 38, is a registered sex offender and was considered "at large" when officials issued a BOLO late on Saturday night.
He was arrested in Northern Kentucky at around 10:30 a.m. on Sunday and was taken into custody at the Grant County jail.
Ford is known to work at local horse farms and race tracks in the Tri-State area. He is also a self-employed tattoo artist. He has a tattoo on the right side of his neck with the letters “APDBN” and a star underneath.
Ford has been known to frequent the Falmouth and Crittenden areas in Kentucky. He is 6-feet, 1-inch tall, weighs 195 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes.
