BETHEL, Ohio -- Authorities have identified the body of a man found in a ditch on Sunday, according to the Clermont County Sheriff’s Office.

The Hamilton County Coroner's Office identified the man as 42-year-old Jason Hamrick, of Tate Township.

A resident in the 2400 block of Swings Corner Point Isabel Road called police at 7:48 p.m. Sunday and said there was a man in a ditch on their property.

Authorities pronounced Hamrick dead at 9:37 p.m. and transported him to the Hamilton County Coroner's Office for an autopsy.

The cause of death has not been determined. The investigation is on-going.

Authorities are asking that anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the area between June 28 and June 30 to call the Clermont County Sheriff’s Office at 513-732-7510 or 513-732-7545.
