NEWPORT, Ky. -- A popular haunted attraction is temporarily closed due to high Ohio River levels.
The boarding and ticket areas of the USS Nightmare were flooded as of Saturday, according to a Facebook post. The attraction’s hotline said it was still closed Monday morning.
The haunted house, built on an actual steam-powered dredge boat, historically docks on Newport’s Riverboat Row each fall.
