FORT THOMAS, Ky. -- For more than three years, owners of The Olde Fort Pub have been trying to track down a couple who got engaged on their back patio.

They'd just like to buy them dinner and say "congrats."

The couple visited the family-owned bar in December 2012.

"They were talking and cute and catching snowflakes on their tongues like kids," Annie Arnzen said. "It was kind of surreal."

Moments later, while a young woman looked over a railing, the guy grabbed something and took a knee. You can probably guess the rest.

"You could just tell," Arnzen said. "She threw off her gloves, 'Give me that ring, I'm ready, I love you.'"

Watch the proposal in this video provided by WCPO media partner Fort Thomas Matters:

Almost ever since, Arnzen and her brothers have been trying to track down the lovebirds.

"We put a message out on Facebook and tried to reach people and tried to remember who was there that night," she said.

Arnzen said she wants to find out what made that night at the Olde Fort Pub so perfect.

"I hope they're happily married, and they can come back up here and visit us and celebrate," she said. "We would love to meet them, and I hope they're happy and healthy."

Arnzen said she'd like to give the couple a copy of that surveillance video as a "congratulations."
