BELLEVUE, Ky. -- A man living in a tent behind his former roommate's apartment building is in custody Friday morning, charged with stabbing his former roommate.
Police said James Cameron stabbed his victim in the abdomen at around 11:13 p.m. Thursday evening.
Cameron, 55, was living in a tent behind the victim's apartment building, according to Bellevue police.
The victim was "on his feet and alert when officers and medics arrived," but his condition is "unknown to (police) at this time," according to the press release.
Cameron was arrested on first degree assault charges.
