WEST CHESTER TOWNSHIP, Ohio -- A driver hit a student on a road outside of Lakota West High School, according to a West Chester spokeswoman.
The driver struck the girl, who is a sophomore at Lakota West, at about 7:40 a.m. Thursday on West Chester Road. First responders transported the girl to a local hospital; her injuries were not life threatening.
The crash is under investigation.
