WEST CHESTER TOWNSHIP, Ohio -- The Butler County Sheriff has canceled a missing adult alert for 88-year-old Richard Ashton after he left a hospital in West Chester around 7 p.m. Thursday and did not return home. Ashton has been found.

Ashton is a white male, approximately 6 feet tall and weighs 152 pounds. He has gray hair and blue eyes. Ashton was last seen wearing a blue button-up dress shirt, khaki pants and brown dress shoes. He suffers from cognitive issues and likely became lost trying to get home.

The vehicle involved is a maroon 2006 Ford Fusion with OH plate number EUP 5254.
