WEST CHESTER, Ohio – A 56-year-old West Chester man was killed in a crash Saturday afternoon.

The man was driving eastbound on West Chester Road in a black Mustang at about 5:40 p.m. when he lost control, crossed the center line and struck a blue Toyota Corolla head-on, officials said. The Mustang rolled over and landed off the road.

The Mustang’s driver was ejected in the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Corolla driver, a 28-year-old West Chester woman, and her passenger, a 45-year-old West Chester resident, both suffered serious injuries and were sent to West Chester Hospital.

A grey Ford Focus also struck the rear of the Corolla, and then veered off the roadway. The occupants sustained only minor injuries.

The incident is still under investigation. Officials said speed did not appear to be a factor.
