OXFORD TOWNSHIP, Ohio -- A toddler's caregivers were arrested Saturday after he was found wandering alone, wearing just a wet diaper.

Oxford Township Police Chief Michael D. Goins said the boy, about 2 years old, was found at about 9 a.m. on Beechpoint Drive, in the Springwood subdivision.

The caregivers, Bill Irvine and Keisha Janes, were located asleep in a van in the same subdivision Saturday afternoon. Police arrested Irvine and Janes and charged them with child endangering, according to Oxford Township Police Department.

They were being booked into the Butler County Jail Saturday evening, police said, and Children Services is working to return the child to his biological mother.
