ROSS TOWNSHIP, Ohio -- Residents and business owners should be aware of counterfeit $100 bills circulating in Ross Township, the police department said on Facebook.
Someone turned in a fake $100 bill Thursday night after they found it in a yard on Birch Drive. Authorities said they’ve seen the same bill about 12 times over the last year.
Police said the bill has Chinese characters on the back.
“Our residents and business's (sic) should be on the alert when accepting a large denomination bill from an individual or business,” police said on Facebook.
