OXFORD, Ohio -- Police arrested one of the men they said was connected to the shooting of a pair of Miami University students in Oxford.

Patrick Belinson, 27, of Cleveland, was charged with two counts of aggravated robbery and two counts of felonious assault.

Police said Belinson and another man, who detectives are still searching for, went to the Oxford house where the two men live for a transaction. However, the sale was not for a car as the victims -- Jared Goldhamer and Volodymyr Kovalenko -- had previously told investigators, police said. It was actually for $4,000 worth of marijuana the students planned to buy.

Instead, one of the suspects shot Goldhamer and Kovalenko, both 20, in their legs and Belinson and the other man made off with the cash, police said.

Police are still searching for the second suspect, who was about 5'11" and 190 pounds with dreadlock-style hair.

Police asked that anyone with information call Detective Sgt. David King at 513-524-5240.
