OXFORD, Ohio -- Donald Trump Jr., the son of the Republican presidential nominee, appeared at an Oxford bar Monday and urged supporters to vote.

Donning a Miami Redhawks hockey jersey with "Trump 16" on the back in Brick Street Bar near the Miami University campus, Trump Jr. spoke about his father's outsider status and took a jab at career politicians on both sides of the aisle.

"They're politicians and they haven't done it for themselves in the real world," he said. "They talk about it, they make all sorts of promises, and guess what happens when they don't deliver. Absolutely nothing."

Trump Jr. also told the college crowd to bring their friends to vote, too.

"Get everyone else out to the polls and we're going to do this," he said. "We're going to win Ohio and we're going to win this country and we're going to make America great again."

Donald Trump Sr. and Democrat Hillary Clinton are neck-and-neck in Ohio, according to recent polls.

Supporters said they plan to vote for Trump, but many said they wished they had another choice and that if the party had nominated Ohio Gov. John Kasich, he would be winning against Clinton.

"I think Hillary is not winning as much as Trump is losing," Miami senior Joe Livingston said.BE
